Stone passed today

Over the years I have passed many kidney stones or not. Some are easy and others I have been very ill. I wonder why me each time and have a pity party. Then I think of all the people who don't have kidney's that work and realize I am very blesssed. As to why I have them, god shows me evrertime I am at work. I'm a nurse in surgery and take care of scared patients that have stones also. If having stones myself helps me understand and help someone else through it is well worth it.

The terrible 3's

Lately I've been hearing how the 3rd year of a Childs life is much worse for the parents than the 2nd year. Just remember the years they grow the most mentally are always the hardest they're testing their boundries and limits,exerting their independence. Without this they would be little puppets. This is the year of testing , testing. Just remember those "I love you" are real now. After this it gets better until they are 13. The hard work your putting in now will create many blessings later. Smile,enjoy, savor every moment.

Hard work

It's been a hard weekend at work along with tough cases everyone was angry with someone. This really created a lot of stress. I'm blessed that I work with a great group of people but just like any family we have our days. We believe strongly in what we do and do it well. Anyone of them could take care of me. I have faith that next weekend will be better and we'll have forgiven each other

How special everyday is!

I use to not realize how special everyday was, but now I do.  Each moment is precious and is a gift. When you almost lose something you care about you start to think why did I waste the time. Each smile your child gives you, each time you hug your parents, each time "I love you Nana"  spoken is a great gift.  Do not waste the percious time you have with loved ones.  Make the most of every day, you can't get it back.
